Hermes is an agent framework from Nous Research. It speaks the Chat Completions wire through a built-in custom provider, so it connects to Roteo with four settings and no proxy.

Models

Hermes is an agent framework, so use an open-weight or gpt-* id from Models. Claude models are refused for agent frameworks; for Claude, use Claude Code.

If it fails

Check three things: the key is a Roteo sk_ key, the base URL ends in /v1, and the model is not a Claude id.
